Today I am showing you a page from my journal which I finished last night.

I used a prompt from Lindsay Ostrum's blog who has a challenge of use flowers in your crafting this month.

I went for a journal page and used an old Gardener's World calandar for my collaged flowers.  The sentiment is not the usual one of April SHOWERS bring forth May flowers, but I thought it more apt for the UK at the moment what with all this rain.  So April flowers are arriving a little late with all the rain we are getting throughout May though they are catching up.  :)

Thanks for visiting today.

Hello and I see we are back to the rain again in dear old Blighty!

Well I have a Christmas card to show you today.  I made it for Hazel's Christmas Challenge Number 72, which is traditional Christmas colours.  So I thought that must mean green and red.

The stamp I used is a Mo Manning one"Little Elf Mim" and I have coloured her in with Copic Sketch Markers.  A "Noel" sticker completes the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

A breakfast treat

I thought I would be a lovely mummy this morning and make my kids something different for breakfast before they both went of to work.

So I made these cinnamon twists.  Very domestic godess of me ... not!  They are so simple.  Shop bought puff pastry rolled out, spread a little butter for the cinnamon and sugar to stick to and then fold over.  Cut into inch stripes and then twist!  Bung in the oven until golden brown and whilst cooling dust with icing sugar.  Voila a Sunday breakfast treat.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I don't normally show food haha but  I'll be back tomorrow with a Christmas card.  :)
