Another Gorjuss card

Another Gorjuss girl dressed using my Copic Sketch Markers this time a card for my sister.

I saw the Pink and Green challenge over on Totally Gorjuss at the beginning of March (I've only just got round to making the card haha) and knew which girl I wanted to use and here she is.

The papers are from an old stash supply I'm still using but I can't remember the name of the company sorry.

I like to stamp several images out at one time and then spend my time dressing these girls in different colourways.  I suppose it is still like playing dolls tee hee.

I'm also experimenting with different skin tones and hair shades.

Just need to say a thank you to Jo for info on making my girls stand out from the page.  Will definitely try that next time.

Quick card

Thought I would post a card I made in a bit of a hurry yesterday.  I had forget that when I use all my reserve cards in the box that it needs restocking again!!  ooops

So this image is a Gorjuss girl stamp coloured with Copic Sketch Markers placed on some Elsie patterned paper I've had for years and years.  The Tim Holtz sentiment was embossed onto card, distressed with an ink pad and placed onto the patterned paper.
et voila a very quick card.

365 Challenge for 2014

I decided to do Kate's challenge again as I enjoyed doing it in 2010 and have completed January and February already.

For March I thought I would do something a little different and have decided to do a zentangle doodle each day that way I will see what patterns have influenced me each day.

So here is the first week . . .

I'm still going to write comments for March each day on my usual 365 journal but this will be an extra and something I can do watching telly whilst I have no knitting to do :(
I must rectify that soon I think.
 :)

Thanks for stopping by my little blog.

Something woolly comes

Isn't it annoying when you are nearing the end of a project (doesn't matter what type it is) and you run out of a material you are using?  grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

That's what happened to me last week with my jumper.  But thanks to the speedy service at WiseBadger I was soon knitting again and able to complete my project.

I was like a new kid and couldn't wait to wear it to work the following morning. tee hee

Thanks for dropping by to read my mutterings
