Whilst surfing the blogs the other night I found this blog, 2 Sketches 4 You, and really liked some of the cards that have been created using these sketches. So inspired I had a go.

I made this card using Kazan's Sketch 19 for my Mum. I don't usually do alot of cards in yellow and thought I would try it along with this sketch. My Mum liked it anyway.

25th Club

Well the 25th of the month is upon us and I have only made one of my allotted two Christmas cards for the Bubbly Funk Challenge. Need to get moving. tee hee

I made it using an image cut from a 12 x 12 paper, sorry can't remember the name of it. Once I had stuck it to the front of the card it didn't look very Christmasy as the birds could be robins or sparrows, not Calling or Colly Birds as they are suppose to be, so I stamped holly in Versamark and chalked it and then added the sentiment.I can't take credit for the wording I had help from the crazy Bubblies in Chat last night, thanks Janice, Nicky, Kaz and Hazel. lol

Q7 of 52

Good evening everyone.

Just thought I would show you my latest 52Q tag. This one is what would you do if you knew you could never fail. Well I chose to live on a small holding and start a business maybe craft related or growing produce. ooooo imagine me as a farmer. lol I do have the wellies!I have used recycled bits and pieces on this tag the paper is a Starbucks paper bag, the wording cut from Elle magazine and the trunk of the tree is from a chocolate box.

At the time of posting I am still waiting for Emily to post this weeks' question.

Bubbly Craft Calendar

Now I never said I was a fast crafter lol. Here is my calendar page for February - yes I know that we are nearly through the month but hey I still need to look at a calendar for the rest of the month.

I was going to make my Bubbly Calendar like Karen's a desk top version (see 20th January 2009) but as I don't have much room on my desk for stash I didn't think I would have much luck finding room for a calendar so I decided to make a wall hung one. I'm doing a page a month. Yes I know I had better start March now. lol

The print out is so colourful and pretty (thanks to Janice's wonderful digi skills) that not alot else is needed just backed onto cardstock and hung up. Ok I did add two leftover felt flowers from a Bubbly Funk kit and stuck some seed beads with glossy accents into the middle of the flower that is it.

Well this week's challenge over on Daring Cardmaker's Blog is FEELING GREEN colourwise that is. haha!

Journal Jar

Never managed to get back again last night, too much chatting and laughing in the Chat Room. :)

I made this journal jar and journal for my Mum. I thought she might like to have a go at it. The idea is that you put lots of different questions inside a jar and the recipient picks a question then answers it in the journal thus making a record of the person's life.

I picked up the idea from Caroline and printed off the list of questions on the Bubbly Scrumptious blog. I didn't use some of them as they weren't relevant to my Mum. I wasn't sure how my Mum was going to receive it but I think she was pleased and said she would love to do it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Anyone up for some sweets?

Well blog candy actually, tee hee. Over on the Crafty Calendar 2009 blog they are offering blog candy to the winner of the February competition. Just make something from the calendar and post a link to your blog or email in a photo to the calendar and you could be in with a chance of winning the prize.

So here is my entry. I used Kathy's February card and insert instructions to make this card for my niece. The instructions were easy to follow and the large photos a great help.

Here is my tag, "How do I feel? answer "crafty!" I must admit I think I went a little ott (over the top) with this one. Got carried away trying to use a little of everything on my desk. You can tell my desk is a mess can't you. lol

Thanks for taking a look. x

Daring Cardmakers - Oriental Splendour

Right this is the first time I have done any of the Daring Cardmakers' dares so here goes, fingers crossed.

The dare is :-
I dare you to make an Oriental themed card which doesn’t use Red or Black.

I made this card some time ago that is why I am so quick with uploading it and remembered I had it in my "ready made cards" box so thought I would give it an airing as it fits the challenge.

It is a peel-off (dare I say that word) painted with H2Os and cut out and mounted onto green and purple card. Then stuck to an orange card blank. mmmmmmmmmmmmm orange.

Thanks for looking.

I've been tagged

Hello my snowy chums, I have been tagged by Gez. Well I first thought I'd been labelled for sale in some second hand shop but then I read the post properly and realised that I have to perform some task. The task I had to do was to post the fourth photo in the fourth folder in My Pictures. So here it is.

It is me last Bonfire Night messing about with sparklers. tee hee. Sunj in the background sticking sparklers into an APPLE lol. We know how to party here. lol

I would like to tag Karen, Joanne, Rosie, Suzie and Beth.

Snow Joke :) sorry had to be said haha

Well what a day! I had a snow day as I didn't have to go into work, in fact I didn't leave the house. Took a photo for you to look at. I like the way the snow has attached itself to the shapes in the middle of our gate they look like two hearts aaaaah!

Spent the day getting on with a few jobs including making a light box to photograph my creations in as the light this time of year is pants. I'm not convinced that it was worth the time spent on making it what d'you think?

Also included a card I made for my sil and niece and one for a work colleague who achieved another qualification. I also made another card but will show that later.

I'm still thinking of my answers for Gez's kind award that she gave me at the weekend, can't guarantee my answers will be as interesting as hers. lol

Oh and one last thing these three were looking longingly at the snow but I told them snow and fabric are not a good idea. haha!
