Tortillons and blending sticks

What. . . ? yes I didn't know what they were either haha.  I saw them whilst I was in Dunelm Mill this afternoon and decided to try them.

I've been looking for something to use that was thinner than my finger for blending my pastels and pencils and I think these will fit the bill.  Haven't got time to practise tonight but I'll let you know how I get on with them.

Mine get used lots with my pencils (dipped in Sansodor if I'm doing more agressive blending) - hope you like them! I haven't used the tortillon style, just the compressed paper type (which I know as "stumps")

Ahh...now I have used paper stumps before but these are new to me. Well done for finding them my lovely. Will have a look in my local one xxx
