Daring Cardmakers - Oriental Splendour

Right this is the first time I have done any of the Daring Cardmakers' dares so here goes, fingers crossed.

The dare is :-
I dare you to make an Oriental themed card which doesn’t use Red or Black.

I made this card some time ago that is why I am so quick with uploading it and remembered I had it in my "ready made cards" box so thought I would give it an airing as it fits the challenge.

It is a peel-off (dare I say that word) painted with H2Os and cut out and mounted onto green and purple card. Then stuck to an orange card blank. mmmmmmmmmmmmm orange.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Tracey, welcome along to your first DCM’s dare.

Your card looks great and there’s nothing wrong with using Peel-Offs.
If you look back at our previous dares you’ll see it was one of our themes a while back and there were some great ideas on different ways of using them.

Thanks for joining in with my DCM’s dare and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Seeing as how it's a particularly unusual and stylish p**l o** I think we can let you get away with it! The card looks lovely and the orange base is, of course, perfect!

I'm not such a peel off snob as I used to be - and your card shows just why you should never shun the humble peel off as it can look just great!
