I can show you these 3 cards as I know these recipients do not know I have a blog and are not in the "crafting loop". I am a very good blog hopper - so good that I visit loads of blogs at a time and see lots of brilliant ideas which I then use in my cards but I can never remember where I get them from. I know I should keep a little pad by my computer and jot them down but that would be too organised. tee hee.
I saw the idea to double over a bloom and thought I'd have a go so here it is. Very simple. Oh I am also using up old cardboard that I am finding too so can't give you the names sorry. I do know that this rub on is a Stemma one and the bloom I received in a secret swap - but I think is was from DiO. ;)
The next one is even quicker than the one above. Cut four pieces of cardstock, scuff the edges and stick them to a card blank. Again the rub on is Stemma. Papers are Daisy Bucket, Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket. The final card to show you is for the DCM challenge set by Kathy which is "lace".
You're free to interpret "Lace" in whatever way you like; you could use the actual word on your card, stamp or cut a lacy design or maybe use one of these dictionary definitions to inspire you:
1. a net-like ornamental fabric made of threads by hand or machine.
2. a cord or string for holding or drawing together, as when passed through holes in opposite edges.
3. ornamental cord or braid, esp. of gold or silver, used to decorate uniforms, hats, etc.
4. a small amount of alcoholic liquor or other substance added to food or drink.
Please come back and let us know where we can see your cards as we love to see your creations.
Found this lace in my bits and bobs box (originally was from one of those scrap stores that our school use.) I've been finding loads of bits and recycling them these past few days. :) The tag was originally from Asda on some item of clothing and the raffia from some flowers I had. You're free to interpret "Lace" in whatever way you like; you could use the actual word on your card, stamp or cut a lacy design or maybe use one of these dictionary definitions to inspire you:

This card is also my entry into the weekly challenge of last week for the Bubbly Scrumptious blog which was to "add a pin to your project". Never done this before and it was a bit fiddly but the pin is well and truly there folks. haha.
Well hope you have managed to read through this long post. I will be back tomorrow as I have more stuff to show. So have a great evening.
Ciao

you have been a busy girl :) they are very lovely tracey :)
You're doing a fab job on the birthday card production line - all looking great and very different from each other! Love the big folded bloom one - very fresh and cheerful!
I just love the one with the lace and the pin, it is soooo vintage! Your 'just scruff four bits of paper and stick them on a card' made me lol as usual. Lovely bloom, very brave to do such a minimalist card, I always need loads of 'stuff' on my cards.
All three are fab cards Tracey. I love the first one for it's simple, but bright and funkiness.
Is that an image or a stamp on the last one? You are a great recycler!!
Love this, Tracey, the lace makes a fab background for that fab image
It's a stamp Kaz, I've never been too happy with the outcome every time I use it so this stamped piece was left in my bits and pieces box for ages.
:)
Oh how I envy you Tracey!!! I wish I could do minimilist...can only just spell it I think hahahaha
I love all your cards, esp the lace one.
Thank you so much for taking part in the BS Challenge this week XXX
the top card is cracking it reminds me of my sunflowers:)!
STUNNING Tracey. XXX
Three very different cards & all so beautiful. I love your last one. You are really good at this vintage stuff.xx
