Just so as you don't think you have to make a card with a reindeer on it for the 25th Club's February challenge I have made a card with a cute polar bear on it.
Of course you can use any animal and make it Christmassy by just simply adding a festive hat! haha

Bubbly Funk Challenge - February
Over on the Bubbly Funk forum we have a monthly Christmas card challenge called, "The 25th Club" each month one of the members gets to choose a theme or recipe and whoever wants to join in makes a Christmas or two with that chosen theme or recipe.
Well this month I have been allowed to choose the theme and I have chosen "Animals". Now as some of you might remember last year I had a bit of a "thing" with reindeer featuring rather heavily on my Christmas cards - well as not to disappoint my first 25th Club card is ........... one with a reindeer! tee hee.
Please follow the link above and check out the Bubbly Funk shoppie, forum and inspiration blogs you won't be disappointed.

One of many to come
There will be quite a few of these cards to show in the coming weeks. Lots of young people turning 21. Do you still call it "coming of age" or is that 18 these days?
Anyhow here is the first one for a well travelled young man.
Please excuse the glare as I had already put it into a cellophane bag before photographing it -oops!

A sketch challenge
Over on the Bubbly Scrumptious challenge blog there is this challenge (funnily enough! haha) here are the details:-
This week I thought I'd try something a bit different and lay down a little challenge. Pretty much every day the Team here on BS share something they've made using the various kits and other fab stuff you can buy from Bubbly Funk.
This week though, I'd like to see more of what the people who read this blog are making!
So I've come up with a sketch design which I hope you'll find interesting and inspiring to use in whatever way you fancy - it could be for a card, a scrap LO or maybe for the front of a book or top of a box - anything goes - I just want a chance to see the things you make!
I made a card for my neice and here it is.
Why not pop over and have a go there is a prize on offer! Thanks for stopping and looking. :)

They've disappeared!
Where has the snow from my snowmen gone????
This is the sight in my garden at the moment. Someone has taken the snow and all that is left is their facial features and clothes. tee hee

Up and running
Hello, hope you have some thawing in the snowy situation where you are? In some parts of my garden I can actually see the path or grass - wayhay!
Over on the Bubbly Funk forum we have started up the 25th Club that we had last year. It is a way of making Christmas cards throughout the year so that come the beginning of December you aren't faced with making hundreds of cards within a couple of weeks. I have pledged to make at least two cards a month - yes I know not an awful amount of cards but at least in December I should have some to kick start me off. lol
I must admit that I couldn't stop making them once I began last year and was making them all over the Christmas and New Year holidays. sssh!
Well enough waffling here are my two cards which follow the recipe Joanne gave us - oh yes I forgot haha - we are have a prompt/theme each month to give us a jolt in the mojo! Nothing worse than trying to make a Christmas card in August when (fingers crossed) it is hot and sunny.

The recipe for this month is turquoise and silver, a swirl and something shiny. Pop over to the forum and have a go.

snow fun
Another day off school for me today so I decided to fix Kat's snowman. All better now aaaah! Not to be outdone I decided to have a go at building a snowman with the help of Kristian. This is what we came up with.
Not as impressive as Gez's - how did you make him so tall? He is very friendly as you can see. and didn't mind posing for photos. tee hee.
This is Kris about to throw that snowball out in the playing field behind our house. We have another day off tomorrow just had a text message from my head teacher. Looks like a long weekend yippee!
Thanks for stopping by. x

Playing catch up
Morning all you people in blogland. Very snowy and crisp here this morning. With the sun shining through the window it looks lovely out there from the cosiness of my centrally heated house. haha.
I have been busy trying to catch up with my 52Q challenge and am now up to 50 although I can only show you up to 49 as I haven't photographed 50 yet.
I've made the photos small but if you click on them I think (fingers crossed) it makes them a little bigger.
So here goes
number 45
number 46
number 47
number 48
and
number 49
I have tried to make each tag a little different from the others which would have been easier had I done the challenges when each week's prompt was issued but as I fell behind and was doing them at the same time I feel that they are very similar.
Anyway thanks for stopping by my blog hope to see you again soon.
Oh, and by the way the other eye fell off Kat's snowman last night - he will need fixing later. :)

Snow Patrol ?
Well I've been sent home from work - it's a "snowday" and will be tomorrow too! yippee. Kat ventured outside to build this - by the time I had got the camera ready his eye had fallen out. Nevermind at least he is very stylish with his tartan scarf! :)
Stay safe and warm indoors everyone. It is 15 cm thick at the moment and still snow is falling.

2010 365 calendar challenge
Oh what the hell I'll do another challenge for 2010 tee hee. This time it is set by Kate over on her blog The Kathryn Wheel.
I will not be showing my pages as they are not decorated before I have done the squares I am doodling as I go along. Hope this works out eek! I have also challenged myself to not make any corrections so it will be as it is and added challenge for me then. :)
Pop over to Kate's blog and from there visit the other talent crafters who have pledged to continue this too you will not be disappointed there are some brilliant works of art out there.
Check back at the end of the month and I will show you January's pages fingers crossed lol.
{{each square measures about 1 1/2", but feel free to do this in any way you like. Every day I write, doodle or draw a picture of what I have been up to as a record of the minutiae of every day life. So if you're thinking about it, it's not too late to join!}}

More of those 52Qs tee hee
Two more finished and ready to share with you.
Number 43
and Number 44
I created the background to the back of tag 44 using spray inks by Sticky Fingers way back in the summer. When I saw the splodges left behind I knew I had to turn them into "friendly monsters" haha they fit with this tag as making decisions is very scary for me - probably why I don't make many lol.
Thanks for stopping by off to take down some more Christmas decorations. If I do it in stages the room doesn't seem so bare. All the tinsel went yesterday today it will be the tree and the cards the following few days.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
Hello blog readers - hope the New Year brings you all that you wish. Health, love and happiness is wished for all my readers. x x x
Right to kick start this year I thought I would post photos of the 52Q tags I am rapidly trying to finish. I sat down on Tuesday and wrote all my answers to the prompts that I have left - quite a few as it happens.
Last night - I didn't go out but crafted the tags to go with the journalling I had written. So today I will show you tags 39 - 42.
Tag 39 What brings you joy?
Tag 40 Tag 41 I really enjoyed doing the back of this tag - I got really carried away sticking down all the different elements, there is even one of Kat's old earrings there too. This turned out to be my favourite tag of the evening. Tag 42
Thanks for staying through to the end of the post - I would welcome comments and thanks for stopping by my blog. x x x
